Luci served as Assistant Governor (Economic) at the Reserve Bank of Australia from December 2016 to October 2023. Prior to this, she was Head of the Financial Stability Department at the RBA for eight years. Her three-decade career in central banking also included a two-year secondment to the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, and several other senior roles at the RBA. Since November 2015, Luci has been a member of the Australian Statistics Advisory Council, the statutory advisory body to the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
