Darren was appointed Group Executive, Markets at ASX in March 2023. He leads the team responsible for cash and derivatives trading across equities, interest rates, commodities and energy, as well as the benchmarks business and derivatives and OTC clearing. In 2025 he also assumed responsibility for ASX’s Listings business, overseeing the origination of listed primary and secondary equity and investment products. Darren has more than 20 years’ experience in global financial markets. He previously spent 12 years leading Asia Pacific teams from Hong Kong and was most recently Managing Director and Co-Head of Prime Brokerage at Morgan Stanley.
